Take Heed:

How to care for a SHS LARP Prop

  • SHS foam props are designed for lightest touch contact events, and costuming purposes. The foam density of these props is not suitable for longevity through heavy contact events.

  • If applicable, refrain from pressing the tip and pommel against the ground with force. While the prop is reinforced to resist tipping the core through the foam, it’s best to ensure the tips of weapons are cared for, especially if traveling. Do not thrust / stab with these props.

  • If paint on a foam prop begins to wear over time and through use, the majority of paints utilized are Citadel Paints, which are most easily obtained at Games Workshops across the country.

  • If contact-safe props, through use, become unusable or do not pass the safety specifications of a venue due to a failure in engineering, I’m happy to fix it for you. E-mail me at Tobias@SpringHeeledStudios.com and I’ll address your inquiry as soon as possible. SHS holds no responsibility for any products being rendered unusable through willful negligence.
